Assignment #16 TILT Reflection

What was fun?

I had fun on filming and brainstorming ideas about how are we going to make our 3 minutes video. I enjoyed making our worksheets and the scenes. I’m happy that I experience doing this kind of project because I like making movie and editing videos. I enjoyed creating this project and I want to have a project like this in the future.

What was difficult?

The difficult part is when we are shooting some clips and the people are walking or making noise. Finding a person to interview is difficult too and a place where to interview them.

What will you change next time?

I would like to have more time editing the video. I want to change the way how we edited our video I want to do it on one computer because I think that it’s better to edit on only one computer rather than separate computers.

Assignment #11: Technology Interview & We Video

The challenges of being interviewed is that there are so many distracting noise and its hard to concentrate on answer the questions and it makes me feel nervous. What I learn about conducting an interview is that I need to find a good setting and different angle camera shots. My group tried to make it funny and entertaining because we want to entertain our audience. I wouldn't changed anything on our "Technology Interview" because it looks perfect for me and we worked hard to finish that project.

Assignment #10 Genres/Production Roles

If I had a trillion dollars, I would start my helping schools. Schools need more teachers, more books, equipment for younger graded children, and more supplies. We can give college students more money to get a good education and not have to worry about paying about it. I would give them a place for shelter, at least get one decent meal throughout the day, and a few pairs of clothes. I want to help the kids who live without a mom and dad because its not fair that we get parents but they don't, but helping them could be the best thing a person can do.

Assignment #8 : T.I.L.T Process

My group's ideas about the "If I had a Trillion Dollars"are that we are going to help improve the Hayward community. Second, we want to donate money for the education like scholarships and more supplies for school. Lastly, we want to donate money for the health care of the people. We got this ideas from our group mates opinions and from the short films that the T.I.L.T representatives showed us. The films are good but my group will do better than that.

I want to focus on improving the Hayward community because I am resident of Hayward. I want Hayward to be known. I want Hayward to be the cleanest place in the bay area. Hayward is a beautiful place and the people of Hayward are nice. Hayward will be the cleanest and safest community in the bay area If I Had A Trillion Dollars.

Assignment #7:If you had a trillion dollars how would you help your community?

If I have a trillion dollars I will donate some to the community for the education, because the schools need more things or tools that students need for learning. And I will help the people that are homeless. Trillion dollars is a lot of money, so I would like to build a foundation that will help people that are unemployed to find jobs. And I will help the people that are homeless. I would like to give some of the money to support the students that have good grades but can't go to college because of financial problems. I like to spend the money on helping people in the community and making the community better.

Assignment #6: Typography Portrait

______________________________________________________

What i like about this project is we get to work on photoshop, we haven't use adobe photoshop in a while so that's why i'm kinda excited on doing this project. I like how my peers put their effort working on their typographies including me. I wish on our next project will be much harder so to test my skills if i can work on certain projects. I will change nothing on this project, but overall this project is amazing! Value is one of the elements i can see in my project, despite the fact that the text on my face is kind off blurry but i think i did my best.

Assignment #5: Top 40's/100's Song Typography Portrait

"Gangsta's Paradise"

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I take a look at my life and realize there's nothin' left
Cause I've been blasting and laughing so long,
That even my mama thinks that my mind is gone
But I ain't never crossed a man that didn't deserve it
Me be treated like a punk you know that's unheard of
You better watch how you're talking and where you're walking
Or you and your homies might be lined in chalk
I really hate to trip but I gotta loc
As they croak, I see myself in the pistol smoke, fool
I'm the kinda G the little homies wanna be like
On my knees in the night saying prayers in the streetlight

Been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta's paradise
Been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta's paradise
Keep spending most our lives, living in the gangsta's paradise
Keep spending most our lives, living in the gangsta's paradise

Look at the situation they got me facin'
I can't live a normal life, I was raised by the streets
So I gotta be down with the hood team
Too much television watching got me chasing dreams
I'm an educated fool with money on my mind
Got my 10 in my hand and a gleam in my eye
I'm a loc'd out gangsta set trippin' banger
And my homies is down so don't arouse my anger, fool
Death ain't nothing but a heartbeat away,
I'm living life, do or die, what can I say
I'm 23 now, but will I live to see 24
The way things are going I don't know

Tell me why are we so blind to see
That the ones we hurt are you and me

Been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta's paradise
Been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta's paradise
Keep spending most our lives, living in the gangsta's paradise
Keep spending most our lives, living in the gangsta's paradise

Power and the money, money and the power
Minute after minute, hour after hour
Everybody's running, but half of them ain't looking
What's going on in the kitchen, but I don't know what's cookin'
They say I gotta learn, but nobody's here to teach me
If they can't understand it, how can they reach me
I guess they can't, I guess they won't
I guess they front, that's why I know my life is out of luck, fool

Been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta's paradise
Been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta's paradise
Keep spending most our lives, living in the gangsta's paradise
Keep spending most our lives, living in the gangsta's paradise

Tell me why are we so blind to see
That the one's we hurt are you and me
Tell me why are we so blind to see
That the one's we hurt are you and me

"Little Bit Of Everything"

I wish I could take a cab down to the creek
And hang a disco ball from an old oak tree
Smoke and drink once in a while
Somehow it'd be good for me
I want a cool chick that'll cook for me
But'll dance on the bar in her tan bare feet
And do what I want when I want and she'll do it with me

I don't need too much of nothing
I just wanna sing a little chill song
Get my groove on
Pour something strong
Down in my drink
Oh, I know
That I don't need a whole lot of anything
I just want a little bit of everything
Na na na na, na na na na
I just want a little bit of everything
Na na na na, na na na na

Now I don't need a garage full of cars
But I'll take a whole box of Cuban cigars
And I'll smoke 'em nice and slow
Like they were good for me
Don't need a ranch or a big piece of land
But I like to get a little bit of dirt on my hands
A big ole couch in a big ole room
Still feels lonely when it's just you
Yes it does

I don't need too much of nothing
I just wanna sing a little chill song
Get my groove on
Pour something strong
Down in my drink
Oh, I know
That I don't need a whole lot of anything
I just want a little bit of everything
Na na na na, na na na na

A little bit of everything
Under the sun
So, when I kick back basking in it
I'll be OK with what I've done
Still having fun

Cause I don't need too much of nothing
I just wanna sing a little chill song
Get my groove on
Pour something strong
Down in my drink
Oh, I know
That I don't need a whole lot of anything
I just want a little bit of everything
Na na na na, na na na na
I just want a little bit of everything
Na na na na, na na na na
I just want a little bit of everything
Yeah yea yea
Whoa, whoa, oh yeah

Assignment #4: Fruitvale Station Reflection

There is a scene when the Oscar got shot. The camera angles are good and certain camera shots are in the perfect place.  When the policemen are in panic the camera shots when the policemen are in panic are very nice. The dead air is fantastic it helps me understand what's happening in the movie. This scene is then most memorable to me because it's has the most effective camera shots and angles.

This scene made my emotion react so well.  It made me so angry because Oscar got shot with handcuffs on his hands. He can’t even fight anymore why would the policeman use a gun if he is handcuffed. It made me feel sorry too because Oscar didn't do anything but he got involved in that incident. This scene made me investigate what happen to the policeman if he go to jail or something.

Assignment #2: Typography Introduction

Typography is the art using letters, punctuation and numbers. And arranging the letters, numbers or punctuation in the way where you can make a figure or image.

I like this typography because it is made of different words. There are shadows and the face is very emotional. I think the big words are meaningful to the person that made this typography. The face is detailed as one person's face. I hope that when I make my own typography it will look as perfect as this.

I like the color of this typography. I love peace and this typography have a peace sign. This typography is made of sentences. The shape of the face looks happy. For me being happy is living on a peace, free and perfect life.
I like this typography because it's colorful. It is made of quotes. And the figure looks sad and alone. I used to be alone and I didn't like it so this typography is like me in the past.
